WORK WITH MARIE CURIE CANCER CARE
Richard’s 737 Challenge proudly raised funds in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care. His fundraising and ambassador work for Marie Curie finished in 2012.
Richard’s 737 Challenge raised £326,800.00 in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care and produced 63.8 million opportunities to see (the number of times a people are likely to have seen or read about Richard’s challenge and his support of Marie Curie Cancer Care).
This successful campaign produced an Advertising Value Equivalent worth over £3 million to Marie Curie Cancer Care and in 2012 Richard won ‘Just Giving Celebrity Fundraiser of the Year’ for his dedicated work raising funds in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Seven mountains and three poles in just seven months is an amazing feat that Richard has achieved and his sheer determination to complete it against all odds has been inspiring. We are incredibly grateful for his fantastic fundraising efforts and the funds raised throughout his journey will allow Marie Curie Nurses to provide more free care for terminally ill people in their own homes or one of the charity’s hospices.
What you have achieved on a personal level and for Marie Curie Cancer Care during the past couple of years has been nothing short of amazing and I have witnessed at first hand how dedicated you have become and how committed you are to the challenge and raising funds for our great cause
